About the company:

Navier is a Chicago-based infrastructure development company focused on originating and developing sites for data centers and power infrastructure. The company works closely with utilities, landowners, and local communities to identify and develop locations that can support the next generation of critical infrastructure, with an emphasis on integrating new developments responsibly into existing power grids. Navier partners with both investor-owned utilities and electric cooperatives to ensure that new developments are thoughtfully incorporated without compromising grid reliability or affordability for existing customers. The company's approach centers on community-aligned development, prioritizing projects where they are both needed and welcomed. Navier positions data center developments as high-return, low-impact opportunities for communities seeking new revenue sources, and it actively advocates for local communities and ecological considerations throughout the development process. Its model is built on fostering willing transactions between sellers, buyers, and neighbors, emphasizing transparency and mutual benefit. What distinguishes Navier is its patient yet efficient development philosophy, striving to move quickly without sacrificing thoroughness or stakeholder goodwill. By bridging the gap between energy infrastructure, land ownership, and community interests, the company aims to play a meaningful role in modernizing and expanding the power infrastructure necessary to support a more electrified and data-driven future.

Job Description:

Navier is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Mobility to lead our expansion across the broader mobility ecosystem. This leader will drive Navier’s go-to-market strategy, forge transformative partnerships, and unlock new commercial transportation opportunities in water-front cities and coastal regions..

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in strategy, GTM, and new market expansion within the mobility, rideshare, or transportation industries—and combines that with sharp business acumen, deal-structuring expertise, and financial modeling proficiency. This is a leadership role that blends strategic vision with hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead Navier’s mobility strategy, focusing on new market entry, platform adoption, and commercialization opportunities.
  • Identify, negotiate, and close high-impact partnerships across rideshare operators, public transit authorities, and private mobility networks.
  • Develop and execute scalable go-to-market models that bridge commercial and municipal customers.
  • Lead business case development and deal structuring, including pricing, partnership frameworks, and financial modeling.
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and executive teams to align market strategy with technology roadmaps.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team to drive business development and market growth.
  • Represent Navier at key mobility and transportation conferences, policy forums, and industry partnerships.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ years in mobility, rideshare, or transportation sectors in roles spanning strategy, business development, or market expansion. Consulting and investing in the field is also accepted.
  • Proven success in developing and scaling new markets, including partnerships with major operators or municipalities.
  • Deep understanding of mobility ecosystems—including multimodal networks, public-private partnerships, and fleet operations.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience in deal structuring and financial modeling.
  • Demonstrated ability to close complex, multi-stakeholder deals ($10M–$25M+).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Passion for sustainable mobility and innovation in transportation technologies.
What we offer:

All our positions offer a compensation package that includes base salary and benefits. Benefits include PTO, Sick Time, 401k and 100% paid Medical, Dental and Vision coverage for the employee.

Navier's pay ranges are informed and defined through professional-grade salary surveys and compensation data sources. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, and the level and scope of the position.
