The Role

  • Directly lead a local workforce of IT support technicians Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders and other operations teams to address key IT support and usability concerns for employees
  • Maintaining very high customer satisfaction and a consistently great work experience for all Lucid Middle East associates
  • Define and analyze metrics to drive standards and influence team behavior; holding team accountable for the achievement of goals Lead and/or manage IT projects
  • Ensure that all IT changes are properly tested, documented, and implemented without interruption to operations
  • Administers and troubleshoots the sites’ local area networks Conveys information to management regarding all consequential operational problems
  • Executes data and system file backups according to standard
  • Interacts with corporate IT support to remedy problems with respect to the Client/Server environment, WAN, LAN, and desktop applications
  • Interfaces with vendors for data processing services and products Assures compliance with Sarbanes/Oxley 404 legislation
  • Monitors and keeps the division's disaster recovery plan up to date Working effectively in a fast-paced, global, cross-functional environment
  • Requirements

  • 20+ years of IT Infrastructure experience with 8+ years of preferred experience working with new Manufacturing entrants into the China market
  • 15+ years of organizational management experience with strong Leadership skills
  • Proven experience in IT Operations and Service Management
  • Experience leading and maturing teams in a fast-paced company through exponential growth
  • Ability to work with ambiguity, make decisions about what data and approach is best for the task at hand
  • Effective organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with multiple projects
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with the ability to articulate complex ideas or technologies in easy-to-understand business terms to senior leaders
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English (verbally and in writing) to regional teams 
  • BS/MS in Information Technology/Computer Science or combination of education and equivalent work experience
