We are currently seeking a GL Accountant. An ideal candidate in this role will be someone with automotive/manufacturing industry and/or public company background.
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
· California (Bay Area) - $80,000 – $110,000

The Role:
Prepare monthly journal entries across multiple entities focused primarily in Cash ActivityWork cross functionally across departments to ensure various Non-AP Transactions are addressed in the GL Ledger during each monthAssist with monthly close activities including financial reporting and fluctuation analysisPrepare schedules as required by audit and taxReconciliation of payments applied to cash receiptsWorking with AR and Revenue Department to improve recording of Service RevenueAssist with preparation and improvement of monthly bank reconciliationsAssist with implementation of processes and control in accordance with SOX compliance.Special projects and other ad hoc assignments as assignedQualifications:
At least 2 years of experienceRelevant background in publicly traded automotive industry or manufacturing companies (preferred)Excellent MS Excel skills Highly effective communication skills (verbal and written) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to develop strong partnerships and influence people effectively Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize appropriately and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and/or the equivalent in experience. Strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX compliance.CPA preferred but not requiredWorking knowledge of SAP is a plus
