Carbmee is an enterprise environmental intelligence software company that provides a comprehensive platform enabling large manufacturers and complex supply chain operators to track, manage, and reduce their carbon emissions and broader environmental impact. The company's flagship product, carbmee EIS (Environmental Intelligence System), integrates data across procurement, operations, finance, and supplier management to make carbon emissions traceable, auditable, and actionable from the bill of materials level up to executive reporting. Carbmee supports key regulatory compliance frameworks including CBAM, CSRD, and EUDR, as well as dynamic product carbon footprint calculations and digital battery passport functionality.
Intro
Carbmee is seeking a Founder's Associate our Forward Deployed Engineering department. This is a high-leverage role for a highly motivated operator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. And it comes with a real deployment portfolio: you'll be running your own enterprise accounts as a working Forward Deployed Engineer while also co-architecting the frameworks and playbooks that scale the entire FDE function as we grow.
You'll pivot daily between hands-on delivery and C-level engagement. You’ll lead implementations for your clients on the front line of global supply chains and help build the internal implementation infrastructure: assessment frameworks, implementation standards and operational onboarding guides. You won’t just be watching FDE grow; you’ll be one of the people building it, one implementation at a time.
Your tasks
- Own Enterprise Success: Lead your own portfolio of Tier-1 clients, managing end-to-end deployments to ensure high-ROI outcomes for global manufacturing leaders.
- Co-Architect the FDE Playbook: Design and implement the scalable frameworks, processes, and delivery standards that will define the FDE department as we grow.
- Direct Founder Partnership: Act as the strategic right hand to one of our founders, collaborating on high-stakes priorities and bridging the gap between vision and execution.
- Shape the Product Roadmap: Translate hands-on deployment insights into technical requirements, directly influencing the evolution of the carbmee platform
Your profile

- Proven ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously, prioritise under pressure, and drive to outcomes in ambiguous environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - equally effective with engineers, consultants, and C-suite executives.
- A bias for action: you figure things out, then build a process so it never needs figuring out again.
- Fluency in English; German is a plus.
- Passion for sustainability and technology - excited to be part of building the infrastructure for global industrial decarbonization.
