We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</span></p></div><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Build and maintain a fly-by-wire aircraft according to aviation standards using shop and calibrated tooling including torque wrenches, crimping and striping tools.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Document and communicate aircraft deficiencies, and work with the engineering team to correct them</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Participate in all aspects of the Flight Test Safety Risk Management process</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Contribute to flight test success as part of the ground crew which may involve:</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Provide input on the design and fabrication of novel air vehicles from a perspective of hands on repairability and maintainability&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Meet scheduled timelines and, in some cases, aggressive deadlines to have aircraft flight ready for project milestones</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Need</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Exposure to developmental flight test</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Aircraft configuration management and conformity experience</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">A collaborative attitude and a meticulous attention to detail</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent written and verbal communication skills</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">A&amp;P license (or military equivalent)</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Demonstrated familiarity with AC43.13-B</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Great communication skills and a high attention detail are required&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience working with high voltage systems</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Knowledge of wiring techniques and best practices (crimping, routing, securing, etc.)</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with electric aircraft&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Prior experience/working knowledge of composite frame and repair</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Hands-on with fly-by-wire aircraft and flight test instrumentation</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Maintenance experience with Part 23 and/or Part 27 certification flight test</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Underpinning knowledge of IPC 610/620&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience working with CAD, NX, Confluence, JIRA&nbsp;</span></li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h5><span style="font-weight: 400;">Archer is proud to be an Equal Opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
