Fleet Operations Specialist Intern

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fleet Operations Specialist Intern to join our team. The Fleet Operations Intern will be responsible for managing and analyzing our European fleet operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with safety regulations. This role involves data analysis, reporting, and providing recommendations to optimize fleet performance, minimize downtime, and reduce operational costs.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Performance Monitoring:

• Analyze fleet performance data, including vehicle usage, maintenance, and operational costs.
• Prepare regular reports to track fleet efficiency and vehicle downtime.

Fleet Maintenance and Scheduling:

• Collaborate with the Service Organization to ensure timely vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Monitor vehicle condition and recommend timely upgrades or replacements.
• Ensure timely scheduling of in-fleet and de-fleet processes when vehicles are rotated into our Remarketing program.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Use data analytics tools to assess fleet utilization, identify trends, and suggest operational improvements.
• Provide detailed reports to management regarding fleet performance and recommendations for improvement.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing fleet operations.
• Maintain up-to-date records for vehicle inspections, licenses, insurance, and other legal requirements.
• Follow up on fines and ensure timely payment.

Fleet Optimization:

• Recommend strategies to optimize fleet size, composition, and asset utilization.
• Monitor and suggest improvements for fleet utilization.

Deliverables:

Maintain asset information in SFDC, V360, and SAP to ensure data accuracy, including transition into AssetFlow360.
Improve overall utilization and reduce downtime.
Ensure fleet compliance.
