Role:

  • Develop and implement a strategic operations plan to grow and manage our vehicle fleet and related assets 
  • Coordinate the maintenance, licensing, regulatory vehicle compliance and vehicle health with operation teams 
  • Create and spearhead the management of our service fleet with vehicle purchase forecasts, timelines, and milestones 
  • Collaborate with technical teams to create vehicle specifications as needed for vendors 
  • Identify potential suppliers, maintain business partnerships and contracts for vehicle procurement, remarketing, and other opportunities to improve residual value of fleet 
  • Routinely monitor payment for delivered fleet, lease company, and commercial account vehicles and support resolution as needed 
  • Evaluate and implement asset tracking and telematics software to help monitor driver safety and ensure compliance protocols are achieved 
  • Develop and implement operational procedures for fleet management, including DOT compliant verification, accident and citation reporting, asset inspections, etc. 
  • Identify opportunities to streamline vehicle maintenance and operations to reduce costs and capital expenditures 
  • Support driver training programs and ensure safe and compliant operations 
  • Manage replacement (rental) vehicle and rideshare program and business partners 
  • Coordinate Lucid Service’s loaner fleet program to increase internal efficiencies and customer experience.
  • Develop and organize strategic business initiatives for Lucid Motor’s Roadside Vendor to deliver a premium roadside assistance experience. Identify tools, resources, and training for continuous improvement 
  • Become subject matter expert on Lucid Motors vehicles, Roadside Vendor systems, and Roadside Assistance service offerings and processes. Ensure Roadside interactions can take place seamlessly 24/7, 365 
  • Serve as a single point of contact for all Partner Roadside Vendor communications, for the day-to-day management of the program as well as program or procedural changes 
  • Ensure potentially critical incidents are identified, understood, and escalated to leadership. Expeditiously address and resolve any service provider issues, damage claims, or incidents 
  • Evaluate metrics and processes to understand operational performance. Extrapolate data to ensure proactive solutions and accurate reporting 
  • Identify and recommend steps to remediate any emerging issues. Provide proactive communication to appropriate team members and managers regarding trends 
  • Understand support function policies and procedures to oversee roadside, ensuring network optimization, and KPI’s are achieved, as well as cost control. Facilitate preparation and execution of regular business reviews with vendors.

  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in roadside, automotive customer call center management, industry experience managing operations for fleet. 
  • Must be able to expertly document, track, and report on program status, and deliver updates with exceptional business acumen 
  • Experience implementing and utilizing project management software and asset tracking tools. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization capabilities  
  • Ability to work autonomously under aggressive timelines and on budget. 
  • Strong written and oral skills and the ability to drive cross-functional communication. 
  • Expert communication and organization, as well as relationship-building skills 
  • Advantageous: 
  • Experience managing multiple projects across varying geographic locations 
  • EV and startup experience
