Financial Accountant

Your role and your team:

The Financial Accountant will work within the accounting and financial reporting team with a broad mandate. The role includes a mix of supporting the team with recurring activities and working on a range of exciting projects, either individually, within the team or cross functionally.

The successful candidate will bring excellent communication and presentation skills along with the ability to project manage and prioritise various tasks and projects. 

Your Day to Day:

• Focus on processes and systems including integration of new regions to existing processes, documentation and improvement of existing processes and systems, governance and compliance support.
• Participate in projects across the accounting and financial reporting team and beyond, including ERP implementation.
• Support the team in peak times around recurring activities such as month end close, processing and audit preparation.
• Other ad hoc duties.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor or Masters degree in finance or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar or related role
• Accounting knowledge (experience with booking-process, monthly closing, IFRS etc.)
• Solid understanding of new technologies in regards to Accounting (AI, Robotics, Digitalization etc.)
• Proven ability to work in a fast-changing environment and execute with urgency
• Advanced understanding of processes and systems
• Results oriented, able to work both independently and within a team to a high quality
• Hands on mentality with exceptional numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills and the ability to converse within a multicultural environment
• Fluent / strong English language skills, German or any other language would be beneficial
