Facility and Maintenance Specialist

Your Role and Your Team:

The Manufacturing team takes care of all jet assembly processes, integrating the many individual components into the final Lilium Jet product. It incorporates functions such as Aircraft Assembly, Production Facility Management, Procurement, Logistics and the Lilium Academy. 

You will be part of a team that ensures the service for the production facilities as well as maintenance activities for tools, machines and facilities.

We are looking for an ambitious, reliable, and experienced Facility and Maintenance Specialist to apply Lilium’s revolutionary product & business model to oversee all building-related and connected infrastructure activities. You will be responsible for securing infrastructure readiness and ensure that our business’s accommodation is well functioning and safe at all time by providing the best process solutions and factory support to meet the business targets in accordance with EASA 21G, EN9100 and ISO14001 standards.

Your Day to Day:

• Ensure facility security, safety and readiness at all time, and guarantee shop floor support & continuous improvement across the entire production network
• Perform and coordinate trouble shooting, maintenance and repair activities for all production facilities and production equipment.
• Contract and manage facility service companies
• Secure quality assurance and environmental management in accordance with ISO 1400, define KPIs and a governance to regularly monitor the environmental performance
• Maintain, improve and update the process for tool certification as required, support internal stakeholders in order to comply to the regulations.
• Development and integration of maintenance tool, PPM schedule (TPM) and related processes for the production facility / equipment.
• Maintain the spare part and equipment storage including regular inventory checks
• Supervise and coordinate external companies such as suppliers or contractors working on site and assess / handover the work performed
• Identify facility related issues and perform root cause analysis
• Drive and support improvement projects together with various stakeholder to prevent incidents
• Manage internal and external stakeholder, perform risk management and escalate if needed
• Participate to steering boards representing production facility

Your Profile:

• Completed technical apprenticeship, Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in a production maintenance or facility safety role in a high-volume production line of automotive or aircraft assembly or relevant position
• Capability to evaluate technical work
• Certified electrician and electrical work experience is an asset
• Ability to perform tasks accurately according to internal processes, safety and security regulations
• Ability to interface with internal and external stakeholder
