Role Description
We are looking for a Facilities Manager to manage lab and office expansion and operations in our Western Pennsylvania manufacturing facility. This person will be responsible for both ensuring our facility runs smoothly as well as managing leasing, design and construction efforts for expansion and improvement projects. The ideal candidate will be both able to manage complex projects as well as be willing to roll up their sleeves to quickly tackle facility management issues. This person will work closely with all members of the Form Energy team to provide a great and safe place to work. What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with technical teams, architect, and building design engineers to develop a program for a manufacturing expansions to our existing facility that meet the company’s technical & business needs
  • Lead the buildout effort, managing contractors and other parties to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of the facility expansion projects
  • Work closely with technical teams, contractors and other stakeholders to deliver new equipment to meet technical infrastructure requirements
  • Manage a team and set of vendors (including electrical, HVAC, moving, IT, waste management) to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of our facility
  • Support the execution and improvement of Form Energy's safety program
  • Strong project management and cross functional communication skills are a must.
  • What You'll Bring:

  • Experience running a manufacturing facility with a growing and frequently changing process
  • Experience managing and delivering complex facilities projects  
  • Demonstrated ability to work across the business to define, prioritize and deliver requests from engineering teams
  • Knowledge of facilities operations and management practices
  • Ability to prioritize and track multiple projects to completion; high attention to detail and excellent organization
  • Experience in an environment with rapidly iterating product requirements and flexible delivery schedules
  • Knowledge of PA building codes and environmental requirements
  • Enjoy the fast-paced, results-driven environment of a startup. Can “wear many hats” and jump quickly between projects
