As a Facilities Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and uptime of our critical manufacturing equipment. You will directly support the Facilities Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, adhering to ISO standards, implementing maintenance plans, and establishing a robust preventative maintenance system.
This role directly impacts our ability to deliver sustainable computing solutions by ensuring our operations run efficiently. You’ll be involved in exciting projects such as developing and maintaining our Lockout/Tagout program and optimizing our Preventative Maintenance Software (UpKeep). The ideal candidate is a highly skilled and experienced electrical technician with a strong understanding of high and low voltage systems, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to safety. This is a full-time position.
Troubleshoot Electrical Issues: Diagnose and resolve high and low voltage electrical problems on manufacturing machinery to minimize downtime. This includes coordinating plans, supplies, and crews as needed.
Maintain Electrical Systems: Maintain power supply lines and ensure the proper functioning of all electrical equipment, including motors, generators, switches, control panels, circuit breakers, and more.
Oversee Electrical Maintenance Program: Provide oversight for the electrical maintenance program, collaborating with maintenance supervisors, asset leaders, engineers, and personnel to ensure effective execution.
Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, including developing and maintaining a Lockout/Tagout Program.
Coordinate with Vendors and Internal Teams: Coordinate with vendors and internal Engineering and Operations groups on new electrical projects, modifications, and maintenance activities.
Plan and Schedule Maintenance: Plan maintenance activities, including purchasing parts and creating safe, clear work instructions, using the Preventative Maintenance Software (UpKeep).
Manage Work Orders and Backlog: Track and maintain preventative maintenance workload and manage work order backlogs, prioritizing tasks and estimating completion dates.
Extensive Electrical Experience: 5+ years of experience (10+ preferred) in high and low voltage electrical systems in manufacturing environments, including installation, maintenance, and repair. Experience with city utilities, rotating machinery, air compressors, and large CNC machinery is highly valued.
Electrical Code Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of relevant electrical codes.
Equipment Proficiency: Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters, amp meters, indicators, and other test instruments.
Safety Focus: A strong commitment to safety and experience with Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with managers, peers, and vendors.
Physical Capabilities: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, sit or stand for long periods, and lift 50 lbs.
Experience with Preventative Maintenance Software (UpKeep).
Experience in other building trades such as carpentry, HVAC, or plumbing.
Experience partnering with production and scheduling departments.

Compensation will be paid in the range of $30 - $35. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
