·       Ensuring network security and communicating security vulnerabilities of all severities to affected stakeholders within the product organization.

·       Troubleshooting and debugging production environments and providing support to a global organization.

·       Identifying opportunities to improve workflow and creating/maintaining supporting documentation.

·       Manage interface to Client and sub-contractor to support Network / Control System compliance and drive concept during Tender and Project Execution phase.

·       Keep current with all Company products, developments, and projects as they apply to the Network at both site and enterprise levels.

·       Maintain strict management of change control procedures and documentation.

·       Remain current on industry best practices and updated technology to ensure the company is provided world-class SCADA services.

·       Support company strategy and provide relevant reporting and updates to Company leadership as needed.

·       Develop and recommend performance management and feedback to current Control System technical support KPI’s.

·       Develop and maintain as needed required interfaces, device configurations and communications, data points, and SCADA Alarms notifications.

·       Develop and maintain documentation of existing Control System infrastructure including hardware, applications, protocols, communication links and system backup and recovery strategies.

·       Four-year Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, information technology, computer science or another related field.

·       Minimum of 2-3 years of demonstrated and relevant experience in OT / Networking with a power utility or related industry (preferable Energy Storage). Direct experience in the electricity transmission/distribution sector with EMS/SCADA systems would be preferred.

·       Solid understanding of OSI layer models and experience in deploying network configurations.

·       Experience in remote access VPN, site-to-site VPN, Cisco Routers, Cisco Firewalls, Cisco Switches, SD-WAN, Meraki.

·       High-level programming languages such as Python and/or shell/bash scripting.

·       Experience with AWS, Openstack, Docker, and/or Github.

·       Fluent in written and spoken English (German language would be a plus)

·       Willingness to travel up to 20%

·       Knowledge and experience with SCADA protocols such as: IEC60870-5-101/103/104, IEC 61850 MMS, DNP3, Modbus & TCP/IP.

·       Basic knowledge on Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), preferable SEL Real Time Automation Controller (RTAC), SEL Relays & Meters, Siemens Relays & Meters & SCADA Gateways & Data Concentrators.

·       Knowledge of the design, operation and maintenance of high voltage electrical equipment including but not limited to inverters, transformers, I/O racks, telecommunications, and controllers is a plus.

·       Intermediate-to-Expert knowledge of industrial-grade supervisory control and data acquisition systems is required.

·       Experience leading and managing teams of other engineers or technicians in the electric power industry, or similar field is desirable.

·       Effective in a collaborative yet informally structured work environment. Desire to take responsibility and initiative. Proven capability in managing contractors and working in a matrix organization on fast moving projects.
