In this role, you are embedded within the Brand’s Content business unit and work cross-functionally within various teams and departments at Lucid. The Executive Producer has a deep understanding of production, production consultancy, project management, creative development, and negotiation across content types. The Executive Producer is responsible for delivering brand content output to the highest standard supporting the brand’s core mission and DNA, from ideation to execution on time and on budget.

The Role

  • Lead the execution and production of world-class branded content as well as execute daily needs in a timely fashion.
  • Act as Executive Producer of the Content team, and line produce select projects when needed
  • Leverage your deep understanding of the video/creative process to define project approach and scope, create project schedules, and guide your teams and stakeholder through the project lifecycle
  • Respond to briefs in support of the creative development process
  • Develop and manage projects budgets, schedules and negotiate contractual terms working with both the Legal and Finance departments to ensure the project is financially sound and legally compliant
  • Liaise and coordinate multiple vendor agreements 
  • Spearhead and lead additional efforts as needed inclusive of training, team morale, and recognition and production process improvements
  • Set expectations and manage schedules effectively yet in a flexible manner showing solution-focused thinking beyond problem identification.
  • Ensure output executes against creative targets for all project team members.
  • Collaborate with various departments (clients), producers, film crews, editors, graphic artists, and motion, visual and sound designers to achieve the finished product.
  • Partner with the Creative Director of Video in all aspects of video content production workflow
  • Collaborate with the Director and Head of Production for  Brand to lead and enhance our compelling brand vision, architecture, and creative voice as a passionate steward, advocate, and gatekeeper of each brand.
  • Oversee client proposals as needed.
  • Work collectively across all functions from marketing to engineers and the leadership team to convey the value of the brand within a business context.
  • Be immersed in our company values and passions, instilling the integrity of the company and of the brand in the look, the feel ,and the execution of narrative storytelling, short and long-form documentaries, and commercials. 
  • Direct team in achieving the vision for each project.
  • Maintain constant and consistent communication with clients through email and phone.
  • Create a sense of community between creative and production leads.
  • Solicit, review, and incorporate feedback from the team as works best.
  • Train, manage, and mentor team members. 
  • Guide, mentor and manage direct reports 
  • Schedule 1-to-1’s with their direct report weekly, ensuring that their direct report feels supported and heard
  • Conduct two reviews annually (an informal mid-year review) and a formal end-of-year review
  • Receive feedback bi-annually through reviews aforementioned 
  • Approve timesheets if direct reports are contractors

  • Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience working on brand-centered projects.
  • Experience working with external agencies, creators, and talent
  • Skilled in managing a high volume of creative and content
  • Led and/or built a dynamic team of producers and project managers
  • Passion for mission-driven brands
  • Expert aptitude in project management tools like Smart Sheets
  • Versed in all aspects of multimedia content production
