Engineering Manager – Laboratory Testing

As the Engineering Manager for Laboratory Testing, you will be responsible for developing an organization and capability to safely provide test data via Laboratory Testing (component, rig, wind- tunnel, transversal laboratory) to meet the overall program goals and objectives (cost and time).

Leadership

Establish a high integrity Safety Culture.
Define and implement an efficient organization.
Develop and enhance the team to achieve a world class expert service.
Develop a lean process and methods landscape
Establish a continuous improvement culture.
Budget setting & management.

Operational

Safe and timely completion of testing activities required to deliver data & knowledge to support the design, development, and certification of the product, to meet program needs.
Provide technical interface between IPT/CE and the T&EE teams.
Support development of an integrated Test Program
Support the establishment of IPT/CE Test Plans
Establish Test Asset and Test Instrumentation Requirements
Prepare detailed Test Procedures
Review and approval of 3rd party test providers
Conduct Testing, document Deficiencies and Issue Test Reports
Review and expert feedback on the request for test
Define & prepare appropriate Procedures, Methods for test preparation & execution

Experience required

Strong lateral / direct leadership experience or potential
Experience in Component, System and/or Aircraft verification testing in a leadership role.
Detailed Systems Engineering knowledge
Can do positive attitude & strong team player
Experience in management of suppliers is advantageous
