Rivian’s Emerging Technology Co-Op program offers a 8-month experience for students seeking an opportunity to influence and transform the next generation of Electric Vehicle manufacturing.

 

Available cohort dates:

  •      January – August 2023
  •      May – December 2023

Role Summary

The Manufacturing Engineering team is looking for a Technical Program Management TPM co-ops to assist with a variety of program coordination needs.  The co-op will consist of contributions to existing processes as well as the opportunity to drive the coordination efforts of a high level, cross-domain programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the definition of program timelines for manufacturing
  • Drive to completion the implementation of proposed tasks and assignments.  Coordinating schedules across different teams and reporting status and highlighting concerns and blockers 
  • Work with the cross functional teams on daily tasks and activities presented during the internship 

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related discipline 
  • Plus, experience in die/mold development or the deployment of industrial fabrication equipment. 
  • Knowledge of manufacturing validation activities through a standard product development process, including elements such as D/PFMEA, DV/PV testing, PPAP, etc. 
  • Experience or knowledge of managing system integrators, vendors, and 3rd party resources. 
  • Highly collaborative mindset and strong communication skills 
  • Appreciation for the art of managing evolving project requirements in a fast-paced environment.
