We are looking for an Electrochemist Team Lead who will:

The responsibilities and duties of the Electrochemist Team Lead will be as follows:

Future cell sourcing
V&V testing technical supervision
In-depth understanding of cell behaviour, conditions and integration
Capable of handling complex cell-level trade-offs and decisions at pack-level
Develop and lead a world-class team
Future development road-mapping and supplier classification
Developing electrochemical test plans at cell, module and pack level
Coordinating the electrochemical team activities to meet team deliverables
Developing your team through coaching, training and performance reviews
Cell material testing work

The successful Electrochemist Team Lead will have the following Experiences & Qualifications:

BSc / MSc / PhD level degree in a physical science or engineering discipline relevant to electrochemical cell research and development
Demonstrable experience in cell selection and materials qualification
Excellent communication skills
Experience leading teams with varied backgrounds, skills and knowledge to deliver a goal
Experience in requirements management, FMEA’s, DV planning and others
A background in lithium-ion cell and materials test development
Experience certifying a product, preferably within an aerospace environment
