About the company:

Noya's mission is to accelerate the transition of industry to a sustainable existence. Every day, we're making progress towards this mission with a CO2 capture process that utilizes existing industrial equipment to pull CO2 out of the air. Noya takes the CO2 pulled from the atmosphere and re-packages it for sale to industrial CO2 consumers.

To achieve a future free of excess emissions, Noya is partnering with industrial equipment owners to deploy this carbon capture process onto their equipment. As the world's only distributed direct air capture company, Noya will lead the reversal of climate change and the development of the technology that will ensure a long, fruitful existence for humans on Earth.

This role is fundamental to the long-term success of our team. Your technical expertise will help you design the first scalable machines that pull CO2 out of air. As an Electrical Engineer at Noya, you will be responsible for designing, prototyping, testing, and implementing electrical designs for high power modular CO2 capture machines. You will participate in company-wide discussions and brainstorm sessions to develop the best systems in the world to help our planet reverse climate change. You will then take these ideas from prototyping all the way through to implementation.

And on top of all that, you will dive head-first into a sea of future potential full of unimaginable growth opportunities. Ultimately, we are looking for a curious engineer who wants to help solidify a bright future for all of humanity.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design, build, and test electrical power supply and distribution systems for high power systems
  • Develop electrical schematics and drawings
  • Develop, and execute experiments for testing electrical properties of CO2 capture systems
  • Spend time on the laboratories, shop floor, and remote CO2 capture facilities when technology is being installed and tested. We all get our hands dirty at Noya!
  • Interface with mechanical, controls, and chemical engineers to ensure successful system integrations
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Applied Physics
  • Experience with power distribution for high-power systems
  • Ability to develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic diagrams
  • Deep understanding of power electronics, power distribution, digital controls, and thermal management
  • Experience with switching power supplies, power conversion, power controls
NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience developing mechanical and thermal management control algorithms for industrial applications
  • Experience in high-power laboratory environments
  • Experience with multi-physics modeling
