Who You Are
You are organized, detail-oriented, and eager to bring your Document Control experience to a fast-growing battery technology manufacturer. You will be the point of contact for Sila Nanotechnologies as it relates to Engineering documentation including CAD, Engineering Documentation Tools, Engineering Drawings, System Turnover Packages, and Specifications. You will collaborate with the engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure the accuracy of the documentation and meet industry standards.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for managing and maintaining Engineering Documents both in paper and electronic forms (including drawings, Turn-over-packages, Commissioning Reports, etc.)
- Primary point of contact for incoming and outcoming transmittals
- Supervise inspection/audit readiness preparation to ensure submitted engineering documents comply with Sila standards, QA guidelines, IP protection requirements, and contractual requirements
- Assist in the development and implementation of improvements in systems and methods to manage the quality, accuracy, integrity, accessibility, usefulness, and efficiency of the EDMS ecosystem
- Work with project department leads to ensure timely documentation processing and future updates
- Effectively communicate ideas, expertise, and results internally across diverse Sila teams to collaboratively accomplish cross-functional goals.
- Train team members on EDMS best practice
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in document control, document management, or relevant experience
- Experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), AODocs preferred
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across an organization and facilitate multi-functional efforts
- Ability to manage deadlines and perform detailed work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills including the ability to influence behaviors and negotiate and resolve challenges with poise, tact, and diplomacy
- Strong organizational skills; able to prioritize and manage complex processes/projects and balance multiple priorities simultaneously
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, copier/printer, etc in a fixed location
The starting base pay for this role is between $109,000 and $138,000 at the time of posting. The actual base pay within these ranges depends on many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. Base pay is only one part of Sila’s competitive Total Rewards package that can include benefits, perks, equity, and bonuses. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future
