What You Will Be Doing
ChargePoint is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our Document Control Specialist team. As a member of our DCS team you will be a driving force in the efficient tracking and management of product configurations, engineering changes, while helping build the future of electric vehicle charging.
The DCS team works closely with wide array of engineering, operations, and product management teams and a direct role in the execution of ChargePoint’s products. We are seeking a confident and personable individual who has exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills. 

The ideal candidate is proficient in:

• Configuration management
• Change management
• Product management
• BOM creation - import/export
• Analyzing and implementing effective processes to address business needs
• Arena PLM software and administration
• NetSuite

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

As a DCS your responsibilities will include BOM creation and engineering change management and configuration management across multiple programs. You must be capable of operating in a fast-paced environment and able to deal with constant change. Duties include:

• Understanding product structures, assemblies, and supplier base and impact of change
• Working with engineering, program management, and operations to understand the program schedule
• Ensuring responsible deliverable are completed on-time in support of the program schedule
• Driving an efficient part release / documentation process
• Creating and managing the product Bill of Materials (BOM) and configurations
• Creation and processing of Engineering Change Requests (ECR)
• Creation and processing of Engineering Change Orders (ECO)
• Creation of part numbers in Arena PLM and NetSuite
• Managing and archiving spec documents

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Arena PLM and Arena systems administration
• Strong knowledge of NetSuite
• Minimum 5 years of hardware NPI product management
• Minimum 5 years of configuration and change management experience
• Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Siemens Team-center 11 a plus

The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $70,000 to $101,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
