The Role: The Division Manager - East manages the select assigned areas by planning, motivating, training, and guiding the Food Broker organizations to achieve maximum sales, profitability, and market share in accordance with projected sales goals and financial guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Train and motivate Broker personnel in carrying out sales and marketing objectives in accordance with Meati Foods policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate trade marketing spending in assigned geographies and develop effective and efficient trade marketing plans.
  • Promotes cross functional partnerships through collaboration and cooperation to achieve shared goals.
  • Understands the dynamics of pricing, promotion, assortment and placement in the CPG industry.
  • Understand and assist in guiding the Category Management team in the development of market analytics and effective support materials to assist all brokers in their respective sales efforts.
  • Analyze and appraise regularly the effectiveness of each Broker Manager to assure that sales and spending goals are met.
  • Develop and maintain a close working relationship with all customers and brokers.
  • Monitor retail store conditions to assure all effective implementation of company marketing and sales plans.
  • Manage key accounts that include, but are not limited to: Publix, Ahold, Wegman’s, Wakefern SEG, Harris Teeter, and Ingles

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred 
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the CPG industry
  • Ability to set, pursue and attain achievable goals, regardless of obstacles or circumstances
  • Demonstrates high level of customer service
  • Must adapt well to change and have the ability to handle stress
  • Must maintain a professional image at work and in the trade
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Must be able to plan, pre-sell, and execute store-level promotions
  • Ability to demonstrate proven sales skills
  • Must be willing to travel 40% and live near a major airport.

Compensation: $108-148K  including a potential annual bonus and equity. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
