Director, Microbiome

You are a seasoned R&D leader with deep expertise investigating the human microbiome and its impact on human health at the molecular, cellular and organismal level. At Brightseed, you will own our nascent microbiome initiative, including the build out of microbiome research capabilities and team, as well as the design and execution of microbiome R&D programs. You will serve as a key expert for both internal and external microbiome research activities, and partner with the Discovery and Translational & Clinical Research teams, generating fundamental insights into microbiome function and translating them to commercial products. 

As a lab based company, where in person collaboration is key to drive innovation, we encourage all team members to be in our office most days each week. However we appreciate and honor the need and desire for flexibility and have implemented a hybrid working model.
