Fluence is seeking a Digital Offer Specialist who will report to the vice president of New Customer Solutions. This role will create digital elements of new offerings and digital tools supporting growth, while providing thought leadership to the Americas organization on how innovations in the digital space will enhance and transform the stationary storage industry. The Digital Offer Specialist will fulfill these tasks as an individual contributor, while also influencing the activities of supporting team members both internal and external to Fluence. This is an impactful role in a dynamic group inside Fluence with opportunity for high individual contribution and impact.

As a Digital Offer Specialist, you will:

  • Be a trusted technology partner, working to ensure industry stakeholders and customers view Fluence as a voice of authority on digital transformation in the energy storage space.
  • Use a combination of internal expertise and direct customer feedback to identify digital product trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
  • Collaborate with team members both internal and external to Fluence to conceptualize and create new digital offerings or enhance existing ones.
  • Work with marketing on offer positioning, pricing strategy, and marketing collateral.
  • Partner with sales teams to effectively sell new digital offerings.
  • Analyze performance metrics for digital offers, such as sales data, customer feedback, and market trends, and provide insights for improvement.
  • Track industry trends and competitor activities to ensure that digital offers remain competitive in the market.
  • Educate relevant stakeholders on digital offerings, features, and benefits.
  • Oversee technology scouting in the digital space, to populate, taxonomize, and prioritize emerging new technology opportunities.
  • Engage with senior Fluence technologists in the evaluation and deployment of new technologies.
  • Collaborate across regions to ensure highly impactful digital offerings have an impact across all of Fluence.

  • A degree in computer science, electrical engineering, statistics, data science, or a similar field with high exposure to analytics and machine learning. Masters degree preferred or undergraduate degree with strong record of application in a business setting.
  • Exposure to commercial topics such as business strategy and marketing, including segmentation and positioning.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data, analyze performance metrics, and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem resolution and decision-making skills, creative and resourceful, display sound judgment and demonstrate accountability.
  • Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey messages and engage with various stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with digital technologies and platforms, understanding their capabilities and limitations.
  • A customer-centric mindset with the ability to understand and anticipate customer needs.
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive and agile growth environment.
  • A collaborative spirit in working across teams and functions.
  • Interest in both the fundamentals of technology as well as adoption of technology by society and industry.
  • Experience working in an agile setting, such as scrum or kanban.
  • Experience with agile project management software such as Jira.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint).
