The Digital Asset Manager ensures that the company's digital brand assets are organized, accessible, and consistent across various digital platforms and marketing channels. This person protects and enhances the brand's digital identity. They maintain brand integrity, optimize workflows, and ensure that digital assets are effectively leveraged for marketing and communication purposes.
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education, and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
· California San Francisco Bay Area - $131,000 - $170,000 per year
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. The Role:
Curates, organizes, and maintains a centralized digital asset library that includes logos, images, videos, fonts, templates, and other brand-related digital assetsEnsures that digital assets are appropriately labeled, categorized, and tagged for easy retrieval and use by marketing and design teamsMaintains version control for digital assets to track changes and revisions, preventing outdated or incorrect assets from being usedImplements processes for tracking and archiving historical versions of assetsEstablishes and enforces access controls and permissions to ensure that only authorized personnel can access and modify brand assetsImplements a system for quick and secure retrieval of assets, such as a digital asset management (DAM) systemFacilitates the distribution of digital assets to relevant teams and external partners as neededEnsures that assets are available in appropriate formats and sizes for different digital channels and platformsMonitors and manages licenses and copyrights for digital assets to ensure legal complianceKeeps records of usage rights and expiration dates for stock photos, music, and other licensed contentEnforces brand guidelines and standards across all digital assets to maintain a consistent brand image and identityCollaborates with design and marketing teams to ensure that all digital content aligns with brand guidelinesConducts regular audits of digital assets to identify and rectify any inconsistencies or deviations from brand guidelinesCollaborates with design and marketing teams to improve asset quality and relevanceTrains employees and stakeholders on proper usage and access procedures for digital assetsProvides ongoing support and assistance to users, addressing asset-related queries and issuesResponsible for creating, maintaining and updating an easy-to-use destination serving as a weekly snapshot of upcoming content and campaign creative, accessible to all internal stakeholdersRequirements:
8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experienceSkilled in managing a high volume of creative and content Passion for mission-driven brands Expert aptitude in project management tools like Basecamp, Asana, etc.
