Position Title: DevSecOps Engineer (Senior or Midlevel)
Reports To: Director, Software Engineering

About the role
Energy Vault is looking for a talented DevSecOps Engineer to build automation and deploy infrastructure to streamline delivery of our systems and software. You will work with our DevSecOps lead and software team to automate our builds and testing, support end-to-end security in our stack, and deploy software to both cloud and on-premise environments. You will be joining an early-stage software team to transform utility-scale storage.

A solid foundation in software engineering, cybersecurity, and software development best practices5+ years of experience (7+ or more preferred) supporting software development, integration testing, and/or CI/CD pipelines in cloud-based architectures (AWS Preferred) in an agile team environmentBS or MS in engineering (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related)Experience with CI/CD development automation pipelines and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, and DockerExperience developing software provisioning infrastructure using tools such as Ansible, Rancher, and TerraformExperienced deploying microservices using containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Solid Linux fundamentals and scripting skills in languages such as PythonExperience working with AWS infrastructure and tools (including EC2, S3, ECS, EKS)Comfortable working in an agile start-up environmentExperienced working with Git(GitLab preferred) and GradleStrong understanding of networking architecture and cyber securityStrong oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage with customersExperience in energy industry (renewables, energy storage, oil/gas) is preferredIndependent and capable of working in a fast-paced start-up environmentExperience in renewable energy, IoT, or the energy industry is preferredA passion for carbon neutrality by 2050.
