Position Title: DevSecOps Engineer, Cloud Software (Senior or Midlevel)

About the role
Energy Vault is looking for a talented DevSecOps Engineer to help craft and implement our cloud-based CI/CD pipeline to automate our development infrastructure from pull request to deployment. You will work with our software team to automate our builds and testing, support end-to-end security in our stack, and deploy software to both cloud and on-premise environments. You will be joining an early-stage software team to transform utility-scale storage.
What you will do
· Design and develop our CI/CD pipeline and support our engineers on emerging needs for automation
· Deploy our CI/CD pipeline to the cloud and connected on-premise locations
· Provide support and tooling to ensure our products are secure from development through production
What a qualified candidate should possess
· 3+ years’ experience (5+ preferred) supporting CI/CD pipelines in cloud-based architectures (AWS preferred) in an agile team environment
· BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related
· A solid foundation in software engineering, cybersecurity, and software development best practices
· Experience with CI/CD development automation pipelines and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
· Experience developing software provisioning infrastructure using tools like Ansible or Terraform
· Experience deploying microservices using containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
· Solid Linux fundamentals
· Experience with securing applications
· Experience working with AWS infrastructure and tools (including EC2, S3, ECS, EKS)
· Comfortable working in an agile start-up environment
· Experience working with Git (GitLab preferred), Artifactory, and Gradle
· Deep understanding of networking architecture
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Independence and capability working in a fast-paced environment
· Experience in energy, renewables, and/or IoT is preferred
