My Impact as a Design Assurance System and Training Lead

We seek an experienced and highly motivated professional to join our Design Organisation Approval (DOA) team as a Design Assurance System (DAS) and Training Lead. In this role, you will oversee the Design Assurance System processes within our DOA, ensuring compliance with Part 21J industry standards and regulations. You will also be responsible for developing and delivering training programmes to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent communication and leadership skills, and has a strong background in Design Assurance System and training.

What success will look like for the Design Assurance System and Training Lead

Design Assurance System Management:

  • Develop and implement an effective Design Assurance System to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Establish and maintain manuals, procedures, guides and forms to support the DOA activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate design processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of Design Assurance System activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Answers regular audits to ensure compliance with Design Assurance procedures and standards.

Training Program Development and Delivery:

  • Assess training needs within the Design Organisation and develop comprehensive training programmes to address those needs.
  • Design training materials, presentations, and other resources to facilitate effective learning and knowledge transfer.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and seminars to employees at various levels.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through assessments, feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training content remains up-to-date and aligned with organisational goals.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Stay updated with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to Design Assurance System.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and quality standards throughout the design process.
  • Participate in quality audits and support corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to Design Assurance and training effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions to address issues
