Role Summary

Support Manufacturing Quality performance management process to ensure delivery of all KPIs related to Quality.  Analyze and maintain quality data from internal and external sources to prepare reporting and support business decisions. Must be able to draw critical conclusions on the data to steer efficient resource allocation. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain program KPI dashboards to highlight and execute business needs utilizing Tableau & Power-BI
  • Assist with prioritization and drive cross-functional process and product improvement actions to deliver quality KPI’s
  • Supporting across Manufacturing Quality organization:
  • Provide transparency on status to target for each KPI 
  • Drill down into pareto of top contributors against gaps to targets
  • Develop forward looking action plans and drive cross-functional process and product improvement actions
  • Support quality prioritization for problem solving across manufacturing quality
  • Assist in the development and optimization of quality processes and procedures
  • Support Rivian Integrated Operating System board review and take actions to drive improvements in the business process.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Relevant quality analytics experience
  • Can do attitude
  • Strong problem-solving capability and attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Power BI or Tableau 
  • Experienced in working with Sharepoint
  • Knowledge of management/planning tools, quality tools, preventive and corrective actions
  • Understanding of quality systems, methods, tools, standards, customer expectations
  • Basic understanding of audit processes (planning, preparation, execution, reporting results, and follow-up)
  • Knowledge of AIAG (DFMEA, PFMEA), VDA and related tools a plus
  • Willingness to work in a strong cross-functional and collaborative environment

 

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent experience 

 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to talk, listen and speak clearly in person and/or on telephone.
