The Data Analyst will report to the Data Program Manager in Operational Excellence department within Lucid Manufacturing division and will be responsible for the development, validation and deployment of data-driven visualization tools.
The ideal candidate will be equipped with a strong analytical skill set, previous data visualization experience and the demonstrated ability to deploy data analysis methods that contribute to optimizing business performance and providing valuable insights to the leadership.

You Will:

  • Gathering business data and reporting requirements from stakeholders, business owners and users from the Manufacturing domain for metrics used to monitor business performance.
  • Making large and/or complex data more accessible, understandable and usable.
  • Transforming, improving, and integrating data, depending on the business requirements.
  • Connecting to various systems and a data warehouse to deliver the data in a useful and appealing way to users.
  • Combining data result sets across multiple sources.
  • Determine priority levels and track completion against a project timeline.
  • Regularly update management on task completion and timelines.
  • Implement stopgaps on high priority needs when necessary, in addition to planning long-term solutions.
  • Work with systems teams to modify software requirements when data is not available.
  • Build additional structures to enhance data (transformations, aggregations, etc.) to deliver a more reliable and usable product to teams.
  • Help analysts refine business requirements and mentor them in data visualization best practices.
  • Access technical capabilities of the data framework to deliver data from a latency and accessibility perspective (laptop, mobile, TVs, etc.) and provide technical solutions as needed.
  • You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related technical field and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Competency with SQL, Tableau and other data visualization software.
  • Ability to develop good data model and visualizations to tell the story around the data.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of information and see the ‘bigger picture’.
  • Comfortable with juggling facts, figures and number crunching.
  • Communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Critical thinking: able to look at numbers, trends and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Lean Manufacturing experience.
  • Proficiency with Python is preferred.
  • Project Management.
