Creative Specialist

Helion is looking for a Creative Specialist who has experience telling compelling visual narratives through video, photo, and design. In this role, you will create engaging visual brand assets that promote our mission and educate the public about Helion’s groundbreaking fusion technology. This is an onsite role that will report to our Director of Communications at our Everett, WA, location.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Visually document, through video and photo, our team’s progress as we complete Polaris and transition to building the world's first fusion power plant
• Create compelling videos that promote Helion’s mission and progress toward a clean energy future 
• Produce engaging infographics that advance understanding of Helion’s fusion technology 
• Apply current visual design principles to create digital and print media, including PowerPoint presentations and conference handouts
• Create content for Helion’s social media channels 

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience + 4 years experience in photography, videography, graphic design, communications, fine arts, or other related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially PremierePro, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong portfolio in videography and photography
• Experience creating infographics and/or data visualizations
• Advanced knowledge of visual design principles 

The pay range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000. This pay range may be inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed based on several factors, including the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
