UPSIDE has grown fast over the last two years, and the momentum continues! The Cost & Lean Six Sigma manager will be responsible for leading our overall cost management program and implementing a Lean Six Sigma program at our Engineering, Production, and Innovation Center (EPIC). 

Responsibilities include… 

• Oversee the development and tracking of accurate cost models 
• Implement lean six sigma program across EPIC operations
• Utilize analytical expertise and operational knowledge to identify opportunities and risks to optimize costs
• Communicate cost status, trajectory, and goals to all internal stakeholders•
• Serve as single source of truth (SSoT) for cost 

About you…

• This role will report to the SVP - Supply Chain & Manufacturing and will manage cost reduction initiatives and implement lean six sigma programs across the operations
• Experience in program management and working with cross-functional teams to manage cost goals and decision-making
• Active deployment of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies 
• 5+ years of estimating / cost management experience & leading six sigma programs

• The role is very cross functional both within the plant and the greater company.  You will work with all departments associated with the plant, as well as several departments within R&D, Food R&D, Supply Chain, among others within the company
• This role will partner with every function in the company! It’s a rare opportunity to learn about all parts of the business and industry.

Key Contributions in First Year…

• Establish cross functional cost management cadence including targets for respective teams
• Implement lean six sigma program at EPIC
• Assume overall responsibility for cost modeling activities
