About the role....

Inari is looking for a summer intern to work from May to August 2023 in our West Lafayette, Indiana location. Through this internship, you have the opportunity to support our Corporate Affairs in promoting Inari’s mission for both internal and external audiences through various communication channels. You’ll be able to gain valuable experience in strategic writing, social media management, event planning and more. This role reports to our Senior Communications Manager and we are looking for a rising senior or graduate with a degree focus in Public Relations, Agricultural Communications, Communications Studies, Strategic Communications

As a Corporate Affairs Intern, you will…

  • Assist with site tours that introduce key audiences to Inari's SEEDesign capabilities
  • Assist in developing and implementing social media campaigns that bring recognition and awareness to Inari and promote the benefits of our technologies
  • Support the Corporate Affairs team with other projects and communications tasks designed to promote Inari's mission, vision, and technologies to external and internal audiences.
  • Participate in projects and/or communications planning processes, including contributing to brainstorming and tactical planning.

You Bring…

  • Rising Senior or Graduate, previous internships preferred but not required. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree course of study focused on Public Relations, Agricultural Communications, Communications Studies, Strategic Communications, or similar major.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills. 
  • A sense of purpose with a desire to learn and grow.
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for new challenges, innate curiosity, and a passion for learning.
  • Creative and strategic thinking, willingness to be bold and take risks, and the ability to recognize and learn from failure.
  • A collaborative mindset that is open to giving and receiving ideas, perspectives, and feedback.
  • Ability to work both independently and deliver on responsibilities within a highly collaborative environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals and audiences.
