Who You Are

Provide oversight, tracking and management of awarded contracts - Cost, schedule, scope of work.  Identify change orders and verify that they align with contract terms and prepare them for approval by the Construction Manager. This person will play a key role in the design and construction of new battery material manufacturing facilities in Moses Lake, WA. Your multi-year project will take on a variety of responsibilities to support the planning and building of Sila’s next-generation anode material factory. This is not your typical Contracts Administrator position; in our small team, you’ll be asked to take on broad project management and technical responsibilities to keep our project on track in the field. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external engineering and construction partners to effectively coordinate, execute, and support commissioning of the project. 

Responsibilities and Duties  

  • The Site Contracts administrator functionally reports to the Sila Construction Manager
  • Reviews and approves invoices for compliance with Terms and Conditions, hours billed, tax rates, billable vs. non-billable, etc.
  • Communicates directly with contractors and vendors when errors are identified in the invoices.
  • Processes Purchase Orders for use of local Sila contractors and vendors.
  • Supports Mose Lake Supply Chain procurement and commodity lead.

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements 

  • Experience with spreadsheets, word documents.
  • Experience with Time and Material contracts and auditing
  • Background in payroll systems

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Wear personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, gloves, safety glasses, and steel toe safety shoes.
  • Move long distances (such as from building to building) and be stationary for extended periods of time
  • Walk job site, verification of work as it progresses.
  • Climb stairs
  • Operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, copier/printer, etc in a fixed location

The starting base pay for this role is between $63.46/hr and $80.29/hr at the time of posting. The actual base pay depends on many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. Base pay is only one part of Sila’s competitive Total Rewards package that can include benefits, perks, and equity.  The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
