Meati is looking for a (Part-Time) Temporary Consumer Engagement Specialist’s role to assist with our increase in Consumer Engagement Activities. This role will engage with consumers on all consumer engagement touch points – email, social media, website submissions, phone, etc. They will be responsible for answering consumer questions, responding to consumer concerns, providing feedback to appropriate departments, assisting with all aspects of the direct-to-consumer process, and fostering positive community engagement throughout all platforms. The Consumer Engagement Specialist will be responsible for delivering a high-quality consumer affairs experience, fostering growth and positive sentiment for our brand, and will need to work cross-functionally to ensure consumer feedback loops help foster decision-making and long-term growth. They will be the voice of the brand and will help generate learnings from consumers that help drive integrated marketing programs aimed at consumer retention and loyalty.
Responsibilities:
- Always putting the customer first, they will instill an attitude of consumer advocacy, consumer communication and engagement at the highest level
- Manage 1:1 digital reactive communication with consumers, prioritizing speed and exceptional service
- Help drive delightful consumer engagements across e-commerce and digital communication channels
- Assist with all aspects of the direct-to-consumer process
- Be a Meati expert on brand, product, and company knowledge
- Exude Meati’s online personality in all communications
- Maintain a positive attitude and energy while representing Meati Foods
- Be engaged, informed, and up to date on new product innovation
- Serve as the voice of the customer and collaborate with other internal teams to make sure we are considering consumer feedback and are delivering the best product to fit customer needs
- Ensure we are meeting all KPIs (key performance indicators) in order to help provide the highest level of customer service
Qualifications:
- 1 year in consumer service or consumer affairs
- Calm and confident under pressure
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications
- Ability to manage processes, focus on accuracy, and highly detailed
- Must be resourceful and adapt quickly to changes, work fast while paying attention to the details
- Excellent organizational, analytical, oral and written communication skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to present complex ideas in an accessible and engaging way
- Critical thinking problem solving skills
- Have investigative skills and be able to follow through on commitments to customers
- Possess, maintain and set high standards and strong professionalism
- Flexible, able to adapt quickly to changes in direction and ad hoc projects
- Positive person who is willing to learn and be an advocate for Meati Foods

Compensation:
$20 - $25/hour, depending on experience
**This is a Temporary, Part-Time role managed through a consulting agreement and therefore is not eligible for Meati benefits**
