As a Construction Manager specializing in Base Building, you will lead the construction of Crusoe's core building structures, including structural frameworks, exterior walls, roofs, and essential mechanical systems. As a key leader within the organization, you will ensure the successful delivery of multiple complex projects—on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 

A Day In The Life

• You’ll lead complex, hyperscale AI Data Center projects

• Manage all aspects of the construction of building shells, including structural systems and primary mechanical systems, to support advanced data center operations

• Oversee the development of base building elements, such as roofs, exterior walls, and critical infrastructure systems, ensuring they meet regulatory compliance and company objectives

• Perform routine site inspections to monitor progress and verify adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards

• Act as the primary liaison for internal teams and external stakeholders, addressing challenges and ensuring smooth communication throughout the project lifecycle

• Negotiate and manage contracts with contractors and vendors, ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to agreements

• Travel as needed (up to 30%) to oversee multiple project sites

• You have a deep understanding of managing the construction of primary building structures and critical systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, for data centers, industrial or commercial facilities

• You excel in overseeing large-scale base building projects with multiple stakeholders, tight deadlines, and ambitious goals

• You have a knack for building strong, productive relationships with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to drive project success

• You thrive in managing multiple priorities simultaneously and excel at juggling schedules, budgets, and project details

• You are proficient in construction management software like Procore, Primavera, or similar tools, using them to streamline and enhance project workflows

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of $200,000 - $300,000 base salary. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation is determined based on the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
