The Role:

We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Construction Management Intern to join our team for a 12-week intensive summer program in our San Francisco, CA. This is not a "coffee-run" internship. You will be embedded directly into our project management teams, gaining hands-on experience in the planning, execution, and delivery of complex digital infrastructure projects.

The Goal: We view this internship as a 12-week interview. Our primary goal is to identify high-performing individuals to join Crusoe full-time upon graduation. Successful completion of this program offers a direct pathway to a full-time offer.

Internship Dates:

May 18, 2026 - August 7, 2026

June 1, 2026 - August 21, 2026

  • 93% of interns would recommend their manager to participate in the program again next year

What You Will Do

  • Project Controls: Assist Project Managers (PMs) with the processing of RFIs (Requests for Information), Submittals, and Change Orders.

  • Scheduling: Help maintain and update project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project; track milestones and flag potential delays.

  • Field Coordination: Walk job sites (or virtually review site progress) to monitor safety compliance, quality control, and adherence to design specifications.

  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors, material suppliers, and design teams to ensure just-in-time delivery of critical components.

  • Cost Management: Assist in budget tracking, quantity take-offs, and invoice verification.

  • Safety First: Champion Crusoe’s safety culture by participating in safety audits and toolbox talks.

Who You Are

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

    • Note: Preference given to students graduating between Dec 2026 and Spring 2027.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel) is required. Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or P6 is a strong plus.

  • Soft Skills: You are a clear communicator who isn't afraid to pick up the phone. You have "grit" and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

  • Mobility: Willingness to travel to project sites if required.

The 12-Week Roadmap

We structure the summer to ensure you leave with a holistic view of the construction lifecycle:

  1. Weeks 1-4 (Onboarding & Pre-Con): Learn our systems (Procore/Financials), understand the scope of upcoming builds, and assist with estimation/bidding.

  3. Weeks 9-12 (Closeout & Review): Assist with punch lists and project commissioning. Present your summer capstone project to leadership.
