Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What you’ll do:
- Lead the coordination for Archer development of conformity inspection plan to be submitted to the FAA
- Plan for conformity inspection by extracting schedule, BOM, and Make/Buy information from engineering, manufacturing and supply chain teams to create an Archer schedule for conformities.
- Track and coordinate reviews of test plans between test lab owners, engineering, and the certification group.
- Coordinate with supplier quality external conformity needs and FAA witness needs at supplier locations.
- Track and coordinate with test lab owners, manufacturing and quality company conformities ahead of FAA conformities.
- Review company conformity packages for accuracy and completeness.
- Submit requests for conformities in the FAA system and coordinate with certification group readiness of articles and equipment to be conformed.
- Track and assist in coordination of FAA conformity inspection with test lab owners, Quality, Supplier Quality, and the certification group.
- Track and coordinate the closure of unsatisfactory conditions.
- Track and coordinate breaks of inspection.
What you need:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering/Science. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience with the FAA Type Certification process is desired.
- Demonstrated project management skills on complex projects.
- At least five years of progressive experience in Quality/Operations/Program management.
- Working knowledge of AS9102 and FAA conformity process.
- Ability to understand and interpret engineering technical data and BOM structures
- Experience with PLM, ERP, MES and NetInspect tools is desired.
- Effective at performing data analysis using software such as Excel, MiniTab, etc.
- Solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication & presentation skills both written & oral; ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Self-starter, able to self-motivate and complete tasks with limited supervision; autonomous.
