InnovaFeed is a biotech company that produces natural and sustainable ingredients for animal feed and plant nutrition from insect rearing (Hermetia illucens). 

We contribute to the growth of a high-quality fish farming sector by providing a new source of sustainable, natural and high-performance protein. We also produce high-quality insect oil than can be used in poultry and swine feed, as an alternative to imported oils. Our oil is rich in lauric acid, known for its anti-microbial properties. Finally, insect dejections are used as an organic fertilizer, closing the nitrogen loop in a circular way. 

InnovaFeeds’ innovating insect rearing process is deployed on an industrial scale to address the strain on natural resources in a responsible and sustainable way. 

Leveraging expertise at the forefront of biotech research, our unique model is supported by many key actors in the scientific, political and financial fields.

As the world leader in alternative animal proteins, Innovafeed contributes to the construction of a sustainable food system by developing a pioneering and innovative industry: the breeding and processing of insects (Hermetia Illucens fly).

Incorporated in 2016, Innovafeed manufactures and sells 3 different insect-based products:

· Insect protein for a more sustainable and qualitative aquaculture, especially for feeding salmon and trout 🐟

· Insect oil for feeding animals (like pig and poultry), in the context of sustainable farming respectful of animal welfare 🐤 

·  Insect feces used as an effective organic fertilizer 🌱

Innovafeed has the ambition to develop internally strong computer vision skills. We are looking for someone to help guide us in designing the strategy around detection technologies (signal analysis, computer vision etc…) for the upcoming years. The job is both very hands-on while requiring a strategic vision to support leadership decision. 

Within the Analytics team, you will be in charge of : 

- Managing project involving computer vision technologies in our factory : need review, specs, supplier management

- Build company strategic vision around Computer-vision technologies 

- Construct the roadmap and help scale the rapid expansion of the analytics team

- Develop data architecture and software to solve Computer-vision related problems when needed

- Build excellence center in computer vision technologies within Innovafeed Run the maintenance of existing tools and products

- Manage 1 Junior Computer Vision scientist

You have a degree in Engineering/Data with at least 4-5 years of experience in computer vision, you have a good knowledge in managing projects in a fast-paced environment, designing and building data solutions.

You are naturally curious and have a good vision of the panorama of data storage, integration and visualization tools along with deep Computer Vision understanding. The role will include both strategic vision as well as product development.

You have : 

- Strong project management skills;

- Extensive computer vision knowledge as well as DL frameworks (Keras/TF, pytorch) and OpenCVIn-depth experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, etc.) ;

- Proficiency with Python as well as ML frameworks (SKlearn, matplotlib, etc…)

- A good analytical mind ;

- Good organizational skills to structure your work methods and your intervention plan ;

- Industrial data experience is a plus; 

- Model production experience is a plus:

- Signal analysis is a plus 

- A customized on-boarding process to discover our business through an operator training and the role of each team through dedicated presentations ;

- A particular care in the follow-up of your integration via specific exchanges and a feedback report;
