Develop and extend capabilities related to lab automation, advanced data analytics and multivariate bioprocess modellingImplementation in close collaboration with other team members and in cross functional partnershipsUtilize data driven modelling approaches and implement PAT for real-time in situ monitoring and control of key process parameters and quality attributesDesign and execute bioprocess protocols, collect experiment measurement data, create synthetic signals, train models, predict experiment outcomes through simulation, and optimize Develop and expand digital TWINS for bench scale and pilot plant bioprocessDevelop state-of-the-art hybrid simulations trained by experimental data and help optimize the bioprocess through predictive bioprocess simulationWe are looking for

Degree in Biotechnology, Bioprocess or Chemical Engineering(PhD preferred), with emphasis on automation, modelling and bioprocess development is requiredSolid technical understanding of bioprocess technologies combined with experience in advanced data analytics and mathematical modellingAdvanced knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis tools (e.g., design of experiment (DOE), multivariate data analysis)High level of proficiency with chemometrics, statistics, data modelling packages and programming languagesExperience in designing bioreactors, automation, digital TWINS and CFD simulations is desirable
