Compliance Engineer

To strengthen our R&D team, we are seeking a Compliance Engineer. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring our products meet legal and ethical standards, maintaining their quality and safety, and driving our electromechanical and QA teams to new heights.

Responsibilities

• You ensure our products comply with all required national and international certifications, standards, and regulations
• To guarantee our designs comply meet relevant standards and requirements, you collaborate closely with the R&D teams 
• You manage certification projects effectively, tracking progress and providing regular updates to stakeholders
• To get the necessary approvals and handle communication throughout the certification process, you coordinate with regulatory bodies and certification agencies
• You conduct clear and effective training sessions for R&D teams to enhance their understanding of compliance requirements

Requirements

• You have a Bachelor or Master in electro-mechanics, electronics or equivalent by experience
• You have knowledge of national and international Industry Standards and Regulations
• You have strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus
• You have several years of proven experience in managing certification processes and working with certification bodies to obtain necessary approvals for product equipment
• You have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and certification agencies, and to conduct training sessions or present findings clearly
