What you’ll do:
- Manages the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs
- Track compensation and benefits benchmarking data
- Create and refresh salary ranges as needed
- Administer and manage employee insurance plans
- Track prevailing wages and overall market competitiveness
- Advise on state and federal employment regulations, collective agreements, benefits and compensation policies, personnel procedures and classification programs
What you need:
- Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in employee compensation/employee benefits and at least one year of managing people
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, human resources or related field
- Knowledge of laws and regulations as they apply to base compensation and incentive compensation programs, company policies, and operations.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with senior management.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and certified compensation professional credentials preferred.
