This team member will:
Support full implementation of an effective commissioning process with great focus on delivery of a fully integrated plant that is ready to start vacuum, cryogenic, and magnet operations leading to first plasmaCreate and owning the commissioning master planCreate and owning the system completion tracking and documentation, developing and managing system completion databaseIn collaboration with Cx discipline technical leads, define success criteria through completion procedures and checklists, with support from vendors and system engineering team, and milestone deliverablesSupport Cx leads and system engineering teams in development of the sequence of operation and standard operating methods for various systems, for startup and operationSupervise Cx field agent team in construction process supervision, capturing quality issues, verification and validation process during construction as well as during commissioning and startupManage the punch-list closeout efforts, coordinate walkdowns with appointed 3rd part contractorsCreate handover packages and facilitating the handover process to system owners/operation teamsFacilitate the management of change (MOC) in commissioning processProgress reporting on the status of system completion progressSchedule and facilitate re-occurring status review meetings with CFS teams, vendors and construction teams, plus schedule review meetings, per scopeWork closely with procurement teams and vendors to coordinate status review meetings, punch-list closeout, acceptance testing and turnover documentationWork closely with the construction entities throughout the construction process, facilitating the construction completion acceptance and turnover documentationWork closely with vendors, construction support, commissioning agents, CFS system engineering team, PMO team and Tokomak operations team in scheduling, planning and execution of plant integrated commissioningLead successful and complete handover of the systems to system ownersEmbrace a safe work environmentFacilitate operation team training process during handover and startupThe ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of these requirements:
B.S. in engineering or construction management, or similar field; or equivalent experience5-7 years’ experience in industrial facilities commissioning activitiesWorking knowledge of MEP and integrated control systems commissioning and startup processes for heavy industrial facilitiesExperience with system completion management toolsExperience in executing specialized assignment, such as acceptance testing for commissioning processesKnowledge of EPC systems in engineering design, document management, construction management and completionsExperience in fast-paced projects and dynamic environmentExperience in a functional-matrix organizationAdditional preferred experience and/or qualifications:
