Your role and your team: 

In this role, you will report to the Head of Commercial Operations and are the interface between commercial and manufacturing, ensuring seamless management of the aircraft slot allocation process within the sales and production matching (SPM) function.  You will collaborate closely with relevant Lilium departments across commercial, manufacturing, program, and engineering.  Furthermore, you are responsible for the collection, maintenance, and management of the commercial risk register to advance our aircraft delivery program and enable successful entry-into-service.     

Day to day: 

  • Oversee the collection, maintenance, and quality management of customer aircraft slot allocation with our CRM
  • Responsible for the timely issuance of reliable delivery date assignments in accordance with our contractual obligations
  • Communicate delivery notifications to the Aircraft Delivery Manager responsible for respective customer accounts
  • Build and maintain commercial planning scenarios to improve delivery volumes and secure annual/quarterly targets
  • Anticipate and identify delivery risks and mitigation solutions, providing customer-specific risk scenarios
  • Own the governance of the commercial risk register and associated processes 
  • Act as the focal point within commercial for all short-term Sales and Production Matching (SPM) topics
  • Optimize the commercial delivery planning process in order to anticipate customer constraints
  • Prioritize aircraft due for delivery respecting contractual obligations and the commercial context, presenting commercial guidance to management
  • Support the digital transformation strategy of the commercial organization and develop process improvements with regard to the slot allocation and reporting process
  • Provide regular reports and forecasting to relevant stakeholders 
  • Own internal Commercial Guidelines documentation and division SharePoint

Your Profile:

  • Aviation or manufacturing slot allocation or sales and production matching-related experience required
  • Execution focused with strong analytical and reporting capabilities 
  • Demonstrated experience building consensus and delivering cross-functional and complex projects that involved collaboration with multiple departments and stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills to convey complicated information clearly and effectively
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate dynamic situations and shifting priorities
  • Ability to influence stakeholders to drive change and make improvements
  • Strategic planning capabilities, with a history of identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Master’s degree in business or engineering related fields preferred
