About the company:

Emidat is a climate-native product management platform designed specifically for construction and building material manufacturers. The company enables manufacturers to easily understand the environmental impact of their products and generate Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and Digital Product Passports (DPPs) at scale, turning complex environmental product data into business value. Its platform supports a wide range of construction industry segments including civil engineering, structural products, insulation, cladding, windows and glazing, HVAC, and more. Emidat's mission centers on making environmental compliance and sustainability reporting fast, accessible, and actionable for material manufacturers navigating increasingly stringent EU regulations such as the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and Italy's CAM regulations. By reducing EPD generation time dramatically and enabling in-house scaling of environmental documentation, Emidat helps manufacturers meet regulatory requirements while also leveraging sustainability data as a commercial advantage. What sets Emidat apart is its end-to-end approach combining EPD publishing partnerships, regulatory expertise, and educational resources including webinars, toolkits, and case studies. The company has been recognized as a rising star in proptech and has won awards for innovation and energy efficiency. It serves pioneering material manufacturers across Europe, with clients such as Novoferm, Woodbloc, and Centrum Pæl demonstrating measurable operational improvements in EPD coverage and generation speed.

👷🏻‍♀️ What we do 👷🏻‍♀️

At Emidat, we are building the first climate-native product management system for building material manufacturers. We aim to decarbonise building materials, making up 11% of global GHG emissions. We collect data from physical production processes, generate a digital product passport with verified environmental data and make it usable along the value chain. In short: One solution to assess, design, buy, sell and manage products - with environmental impact at the core.

With this, we are building the digital infrastructure to make it faster, easier, and more sustainable to build the world around us.

What you will work on

Your mission

Join our Climate Success team as a full-time Intern and support our customers across the entire user journey - from onboarding to day-to-day support to technical questions. Your focus will be twofold: creating real value for our customers, as well as driving internal processes within the CS team to make us more efficient. Along the way, you'll gain hands-on insight into product management (including our Digital Twin area), LCA engineering, and how new applications get built into an existing product. You'll also work closely with our LCA Domain Experts, giving you exposure to the technical foundation of our product.

At the same time, you'll dive into the building materials industry itself: getting to know manufacturers of cement, steel, windows, construction chemicals, asphalt, electronic building equipment and many more - and understanding how differently each of them approaches EPDs and LCAs.

During your internship, you will

  • Support the CS team across all stages of the customer journey, from onboarding to ongoing support (including, participating in customer meetings & visits, answering customer requests, validating EPD and LCA’s)

  • Contribute to and help shape internal processes (i.e automating workflows of data transfers and customer communications, analysing user behaviour)

  • Own an individual project end-to-end, driving it forward independently within your time at Emidat (e.g. improvement of usability of Emidat platform with customer knowledge & insights gained through internship).

  • Get direct insight into how CS, Product, and our LCA Domain Experts collaborate.

  • Build a broad understanding of the building materials industry and its sustainability requirements.

  • Demonstrated Interest: Relevant work experience, education or interest in the sector. Demonstrated through engagement with climate topics, the building materials / construction industry, or how software can capture complex technical processes.

Nice to have's

  • Languages: Business fluency in an additional European language (Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish).

  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role (i.e Customer Success, Support, Onboarding, Sales, or Consulting) where you managed relationships or solved problems in real time.
