Chemical Engineer (Radioisotopes)

We are developing a radioisotope team to design, build, and test gas processing systems to handle, store, and purify isotopes of hydrogen and helium. This team will comprise all levels and backgrounds, and includes technicians, engineers, and scientists. 

What You'll Be Doing:

• You will grow to be our in-house tritium expert,
• Play an integral role on the radioisotope project where we design, build, and test hydrogen, helium, and related radioisotope storage, purification, and processing systems,
• Build and test prototype gas-handling and associated vacuum systems (including cryogenics),
• Perform theoretical and experimental analyses for materials, thermal management, and radiochemistry,
• Comply with required safety, licensing, and regulatory processes,
• Support the safe use and storage of tritium.

• Experience working with tritium vacuum systems,
• Experience working with safety programs for tritium,
• 4+ years of hands-on work experience with tritium or radiochemistry, radiopharmaceuticals, and radioisotope production.
