InnovaFeed is a biotech company that produces natural and sustainable ingredients for animal feed and plant nutrition from insect rearing (Hermetia illucens). 

We contribute to the growth of a high-quality fish farming sector by providing a new source of sustainable, natural and high-performance protein. We also produce high-quality insect oil than can be used in poultry and swine feed, as an alternative to imported oils. Our oil is rich in lauric acid, known for its anti-microbial properties. Finally, insect dejections are used as an organic fertilizer, closing the nitrogen loop in a circular way. 

InnovaFeeds’ innovating insect rearing process is deployed on an industrial scale to address the strain on natural resources in a responsible and sustainable way. 

Leveraging expertise at the forefront of biotech research, our unique model is supported by many key actors in the scientific, political and financial fields.

As the world leader in alternative animal proteins, Innovafeed contributes to the construction of a sustainable food system by developing a pioneering and innovative industry: the breeding and processing of insects (Hermetia Illucens fly).

- Dealing with global protein deficit by strengthening our food systems

- To have a positive overall environmental impact based on circular economy and inspired by natural food chains;

- To generate territorial economic dynamism : in order to feed and raise our larvaes, we are co-located with agro-industrial partners that provide us with co-products and low footprint energy.

 

Incorporated in 2016, Innovafeed manufactures and sells 3 different insect-based products:

· Insect protein for a more sustainable and qualitative aquaculture, especially for feeding salmon and trout 🐟

· Insect oil for feeding animals (like pig and poultry), in the context of sustainable farming respectful of animal welfare 🐤 

·  Insect feces used as an effective organic fertilizer 🌱

A ce jour, Innovafeed a démarré 2 usines (un site pilote à Gouzeaucourt et un site à échelle à Nesle) et ambitionne de nouvelles ouvertures de sites dans les prochaines années, dans le but d'asseoir son leadership mondial. Afin de démontrer notre modèle industriel et le potentiel de notre filière comme nouveau secteur industriel, l'équipe Performance Drivers se focalise sur le développement de connaissances pour l’élevage d’insectes à échelle industrielle. Ces expérimentations impactent les sites de production sur 2 horizons temporels :

- court terme : permettre l’amélioration concrète des performances des sites existants par la maîtrise des paramètres d’élevage.

- long terme : explorer l’impact de paramètres d’élevage, sans la contrainte de choix passés, afin de permettre le développement et dimensionnement des futurs sites. 

En tant que chef de projet Expérimentation Opérationnelle, vous intégrerez l'équipe Performance Drivers, composée d'une douzaine de personnes.

Vous avez pour rôle d’identifier, au travers de tests à l’échelle semi-production ou en production, les facteurs de performance de notre élevage et de développer les technologies permettant de les exploiter afin d’atteindre nos objectifs de production. Vous serez basé sur notre site de Nesle (80) ou de Gouzeaucourt (59), en fonction de vos contraintes personnelles.

Vous travaillerez en lien direct avec notre responsable Expérimentation Opérationnelle.

En tant que chef de projet, vous travaillerez sur des projets liés au : 

- Développement de connaissances du cycle de vie de l’insecte (son exploitation à des fins industrielles)

- La création de synergies avec l’Excellence Ops, la production, la R&D, l'Ingénierie.

- La gestion quotidienne des tests (vision globale depuis la définition et l’organisation, via la réalisation jusqu’au partage des résultats).

Ce poste vous permettra de développer vos aptitudes en communication, gestion de plannings, priorisation et vous bénéficierez d’un équilibre optimal entre travail au bureau et travail sur le terrain. Les tests menés porteront à la fois sur l’élevage et la reproduction. Ils discriminent les paramètres importants pour assurer une bonne croissance des individus et des conditions favorisant la ponte. 

Issu.e préférentiellement d’un Master en école d’ingénieurs ou équivalent, vous faites preuve de rigueur dans l’exécution de vos tâches, d’un goût pour l’observation et d’un esprit analytique. Ce poste peut attirer de jeunes diplômé.es comme quelqu’un ayant déjà une expérience professionnelle. Plus généralement, nous cherchons à intégrer dans notre équipe des personnes :
