We are seeking a Buyer/Planner for our New Production Introduction Supply-Chain team. You will be responsible for coordinating and supporting procurement related activities related to new designs and special engagements for BETA’s high voltage team.

How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
Define operational strategy and process for New Product Introductions, specifically in support of Beta’s high voltage system teamImplement and refine standard operating procedures that will be the framework for how NPI operatesDrive milestones to ensure projected timelines are held and drive course correction actionsMaintain world class production standards of quality and safetyCoordinate and prioritize work in an extremely dynamic environmentUnderstand and execute orders against material requirements planning (MRP) signalsTrack material shortages for work-orders, kits, and sub-assemblies based on bill-of-material or drawings, facilitate alternate solutions where material supply doesn’t supportDevelop solutions and strategies for improving delivery lead-times on parts and materialsHelp quantify headcount, process needs and materials required to execute the planUse and maintain the ERP system to provide clarity and source of truth to the organization through clear demand signals and organized data managementMinimum Qualifications:
Comfortable with frequent change of direction, dynamic work environment, and passion to perform under pressure5+ years direct experience in planning or project management, preferred experience in manufacturing or in an environment with a similarly intense level of quality and traceability requirementsExperience managing Supplier relationships, inventory management, and understanding of basic principles of procurement practicesExtremely strong communication and presentation skillsStrong background in problem-solving and leadershipDemonstrated understanding of an ERP system. Experience with Epicor, SAP, Plex, or Oracle will prepare for success.Exposure to rapid manufacturing growth and preferably startup experienceStrong ability to perform both as a part of a team and to perform as an individualDesire to change the world of aviation foreverA passion for flight!Above and Beyond Qualifications:
