The GMP Business Coordinator is a critical role that facilitates the management and operational co-ordination and alignment across the company representing the Global Manufacturing Planning department. This role will require strong organizational skills to maintain consistent outward communications form the department.  Exceptional levels of collaboration will be required among cross functional teams such as Program Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering & Operations and other business entities.

You Will:

  • Ensure alignment and clear scope of deliverables within the Global Manufacturing Planning teams and our external partners.
  • Create functional reporting for planning based on Plan on a Page methodology.
  • Manage communications and timelines for business case approval between cross functional team both internal and external to the manufacturing organization.
  • Create and maintain a well-organized database for benchmarking factory and equipment project metrics (schedules, costs, headcount, etc.).
  • Prepare and own program change control packs for management approval.
  • Consolidate and maintain all resourcing requirements across the Global Manufacturing Planning organization
  • Develop, own and maintain Global Manufacturing Planning Timing & Schedules.
  • Distribute required materials in advance of meetings so that collaborative time can be used for critical discourse with expedited presentations that allow time for vibrant and thorough dialogue.
  • Act as gatekeeper for plan of record from Program Management teams & change control.
  • Keep and maintain detailed meeting minutes as a record of technical decision making.
  • Manage the Global Manufacturing Planning org chart in alignment to resource planning and live status on hiring.
  • Create, Prepare and Manage Global Manufacturing Planning operational procedures enhancing the standardization of programme methodology.
  • Support and co-ordinate technical supplier visits and ensure detailed visit reports are prepared and shared across the manufacturing teams.

  • You Bring:

  • Graduate degree in business management in manufacturing with a Manufacturing Engineering experience or similar technical field.
  • 4+ years business administration experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to global manufacturing project is preferred.
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing requests and needs
  • Highly collaborative; comfortable working with people in a matrixed environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience in using scheduling software such as MS Project, P6 or similar
  • Ability to foster and support a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration and teamwork; able to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues across all departments
  • Able to analyze data to guide strategic planning
  • Comfortable to give effective presentations to and facilitate meeting with all levels of the organization
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
