We are looking for a Battery Validation Engineer who will:

The responsibilities and duties of the Battery Validation Engineer will be as follows:
- Create test plans, define, and deliver test equipment, and write test methods to validate designs and functions for aerospace battery systems
- Write test scripts to enable automation using Vector tools and MATLAB/Simulink
- Process raw test data and analyse and interpret test results and assist with root cause analysis for any failures
- Support commissioning and integration of ESS on the aircraft
- Troubleshooting equipment and sample issues, maintaining and solving test equipment problems as needed.
- Write test reports
The successful Battery Validation Engineer will have the following Experiences & Qualifications:
- A degree in an engineering or technical discipline, or equivalent and demonstrable work experience
- Ability to plan, control and take responsibility for own work and related decisions
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail in all aspects of the job role
- Problem solving skills and can-do attitude.
- Experience with complex system integrations
- Experience in data processing and analysis using tools such as MATLAB , Python , DIAdem
- Experience with different communication protocols i.e. CAN and Ethernet but not essential
- Experience with Cell and Battery pack integration and testing but not essential
