Fluence is seeking a Battery Module Engineer to lead engineer the design and release of battery module thermal components.

Responsibilities.

•Update and maintain the design of the battery module thermal components.

•Work with our suppliers to ensure parts are released on time with quality.

•Review and maintain supplier cold plate DFMEA, PFMEA and end of line performance checks.

•Work with the greater module team to ensure the overall performance and manufacturability of the module.

•Identify opportunities to improve thermal performance.

•Identify module engineering fixes in the field related to thermal issues.

•Develop/refine Module thermal component specifications.

Requirements

•8+ years’ experience designing thermal components and cold plate, ideally for battery systems

•Bachelor of Science in Engineering.

•Experience building and using thermal/mechanical analytical models.

•Experience with cold plate designs and manufacturing of brazed cold plates..

•Proven record of working autonomously.

•Highly tuned drive to win and deliver excellence under tight timelines.
