We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</span></p></div><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li class="li1">Assist in the development of a high-volume battery production system, from early process feasibility studies to production at a greenfield site</li> <li class="li1">Provide Design For Manufacturing (DFM) input to Product Engineering to enhance manufacturability and cost</li> <li class="li1">Plan and execute process feasibility studies using formal Design Of Experiments (DOE) methods, analyze and report results to cross functional team</li> <li class="li1">Provide manufacturing feedback on mechanical stackup and analysis</li> <li class="li1">Support small scale buck and prototype builds</li> <li class="li1">Assist with the specification and design of manufacturing equipment, design tools and machine concepts in 3D CAD</li> <li class="li1">Document requirements for tooling and process capabilities and interfaces</li> <li class="li1">Create Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) for the Battery production system</li> <li class="li1">Author first generation of work instructions</li> <li class="li1">Troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment, PLC controls, robotics, and vision inspection systems</li> <li class="li1">Support installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment and tooling&nbsp;</li> <li class="li1">Support efforts for continuous improvements by identifying ways to improve quality, throughput, and reduce cost</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Need</strong></p> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li1">Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineer or similar with 5+ years of experience</li> <li class="li1">Hands-on experience with battery module and/or pack manufacturing</li> <li class="li1">Demonstrated experience with statistical process control and GD&amp;T</li> <li class="li1">Experience developing production lines from prototype to mass production</li> <li class="li1">Experience with CAD, PLM, MES, and ERP software</li> <li class="li1">Passion for manufacturing</li> <li class="li1">Problem-solving skills</li> <li class="li1">Excellent communication skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li class="li1">Experience with wirebonding, laser welding, ultrasonic welding, electronic torque tools, adhesive dispense, and/or battery End Of Line test</li> <li class="li1">Experience with high voltage systems: cars, aircraft, etc.</li> <li class="li1">Prior experience in aerospace production system design</li> <li class="li1">Experience with NX/teamcenter</li> <li class="li1">Experience with MES development and integration</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h5><span style="font-weight: 400;">Archer is proud to be an Equal Opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
